Marketing Makeover

From outdated and static to innovative and fluid

Challenge

Designing marketing materials became time consuming, primarily because outdated templates prioritized dimensions for Facebook's standards although a majority of our clients were targeting audiences on other platforms. Designs were not optimized for mobile devices and had a heavy text-to-photo ratio, making ads uneasy on the eyes and illegible.

Solution

  • Improve author-to-audience engagement by replacing low traffic Facebook ads with interchangeable social media milestone ads to keep the author’s following interested throughout project's development

  • Design three media package options for varying author-influencing levels, with the highest level including video media for higher engagement clicks such as story posts

Outcome

We cut marketing production time in half by eliminating ads driving low traffic, automating Photoshop actions, redesigning InDesign templates and adhering to current design trends in social media. We also decreased review cycles which freed up art director's time.
